Opening up opportunities
It’s all very well working in your own space, but sometimes it’s helpful to think outside the box and exchange or discuss ideas with other people. Collaboration is made so much easier when there are opportunities literally on your doorstep. With knowledgeable like-minded people working all around you, networking at WCFI is easy.
When you become part of the Wood Centre for Innovation, you’ll gain lots of support you didn’t even know you needed. With our team well connected within Oxford’s science and technology sectors, you’ll have the kind of help you just won’t get anywhere else.
Our Commercial Manager, Kelly Carter is here to help you drive your business forward and overcome challenges to success. From her experience running Innovation Centres and working with businesses from all industries Kelly will be able to work with you and the Oxford Innovation network of Innovation Directors to offer you practical support and advice to drive forward your vision, strategy and implementation.
As part of our support offering, throughout the year WCFI and OCFI host a programme of sector specific and business building workshops for you to benefit from. These sessions are open to all customers and included as part of your license fee.
In addition to this, the centre team will help you tap into the surrounding science and tech communities gaining access to an expert support network as well as key insights into new developments and industry trends.
Meet the innovative businesses already part of our growing community.

Rosie jumped at the chance to work in the new WCFI and brings with her extensive customer relations and office management experience. In her spare time, she enjoys walking and cycling.
